I moved to Mexico a year and a half ago to 
be with my husband. It was a difficult decision because it would mean leaving behind my career in Vancouver, Canada and taking the chance that I would either not be able to find work abroad or I would end up working in a job that didn’t take advantage of my education or previous work experience. I feel so blessed that I have been able to work virtually from home. I am so lucky to be working for a company where the job is challenging and rewarding and everyday I learn something new. Working from home has been such a great experience and I’m actually find that I’m more productive! Being at home with out any distractions means I am able to focus on my work and get more things done. This has been been one of the best decisions I’ve made.
James – I am originally from California and now I’m living in Mexico. I met my wife about 4 years ago and decided to move here. I made the decision to work remotely from home, which has been one of the best decisions that I’ve made. I have been working virtually for over 2 years and can’t imagine working any other way.. I’m very happy, I feel like my work is always recognized and never overlooked. John - After both my partner and I served in the Armed 
Forces, we decided to do something different. We sold all of our furniture and moved to Mexico for a new adventure!! Lounging around the beach is ok for a while, but still being in my 30’s I actively set out to find a virtual computer position in my field of expertise, administration. I am glad I took the time to apply to the companies advertisement as I was skeptical when the job posting seemed to go to be true. This is a company with excellent labour practices, and also they take the time to train, and make sure you understand all company procedures thoroughly. I am very happy to be able live in the place of my dreams, and financially sustain myself while doing so.
I recently moved to Mexico City with my husband and after being here for just a few months I was starting to get frustrated because I wanted to start 
working. Luckily I have come in contact with wonderful people and I was able to become a virtual expat! Working from home has been such a great change for me, I am no longer stressing out about being in traffic or that the cost of gas has gone up and it’s refreshing to know that if me family needs me I’m just a yell away! Knowing that I am valued for my work and not for my presence motivates me to work even harder. I am originally from England and lived in Florida for 11 years before moving here to Merida Yucatan Mexico 3 years ago, I met my wife here and started my own computer repair company 
which was very hard to do, due to the language barriers and I got minimal work through the locals and the expats. I found this company offering a work from home package with great benefits and great staff and have managed to develop my computer skills even further and find that I am happy in my role within the company and within my personal life. Jody – I am originally from Halifax, N.S. I moved to Kingston, Ontario when I was 18 to attend university and raise a family. Being a young father, I worked 3 jobs to put myself through school. In 1999, I moved to Vancouver Island for a job in my chosen career. I have worked in the Hospitality industry all my life and held jobs right from Bell Man to Interim General Manager. I have a great deal of experience in opening new hotels and played a key role in the opening of Revelstoke Mountain Resort Nelsen Lodge. I met a wonderful person in Vancouver and decided to move to Mexico in 2010. Not knowing any Spanish at all, it 
was a daunting experience. Finding work was more than difficult and found myself considering moving back to Canada. I then had the fortunate luck of finding a company offering a work from home experience, where I could utilize my skills, make some money and not have to worry about my bad Spanish speaking!. This company has been a stepping stone for many wonderful things in my personal life, Not only do I get to work from home, I get to work with other Canadians and Americans in similar situations as my own. The company has been very supportive. I like how stream line the communications are between my self and the people I work with. Most times I feel they are right next to me giving me the support when I need it. I feel part of a virtual family. Even remembering my birthday with a nice e-card and many good wishes! Jeff – Since May of 2006, I have been living in Puerto Vallarta, MX and have been employed and 
provided contract services for several companies in the US and Canada in the Accounting, Finance and Administration areas. Simple technology and the internet has allowed me to be able to telecommute, and it has been a seamless experience for me and my employers. It has been a great way whereby both me and my employers have been able to connect by matching high quality professional expertise with various employers outside the traditional local job market.
After working six years as a publicist
